white supremacy: the violence of boring.

This is an excerpt from my upcoming book: humanuscript.

White violence is predictable.

First off, to themselves. White supremacists truly are victims of their own inability to heal from deep generational trauma. This is not an excuse; it's the reason. They're so divorced from reality and their own history that they are making it the world's problem. They cannot sit with their own pain, cannot face what their ancestors did and what they continue to do, so they project it outward. They participate in their own subjugation. They need someone to blame, someone to be beneath them, someone to justify the hollow structure of their self-proclaimed superiority.

White supremacy requires that people look "out of place." It needs to label and capture what it sees as non-hegemony in a cancerous way. It's why it relies on arbitrary labels and measures of worth —test scores, zip codes, speech patterns, names. Because if it came down to a battle of wits or intellect, strength and resilience, understanding and empathy, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Consider the traps of white hype: Gentrification. Cultural co-opting. Colonization and expatriation. Extraction dressed up as discovery. Each one takes something living and turns it into a product or aesthetic. Each one erases the people who built the thing, then sells it back to them at a markup. They cannot create, thus they destroy.

America has been putting varnish over its mess for far too long, and now there's a fucking landslide of shellacked shit coming down the tailpipe. The veneer is cracking. All the violence we've pretended was history —slavery, genocide, internment, segregation— is ongoing. Just rebranded. Policing. Prisons. Borders. Debt. The tools change, but the function stays the same: control and extraction.

Barbarism. White supremacy. Capitalism. The illusion of choice wrapped up in convenience and apathy. These are the poisons.

Authoritarianism follows the same playbook, the same tired scripts, the same outcomes you can see coming. Its followers have no soul, no sense of being. The banality shouldn't hide the impact; it doesn't take much to cause lasting harm —that's the system.
